We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and creative content development executive to join our Direct to Consumer ecommerce channel team and provide content and copywriting support to the business unit. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global and local ecommerce and brand teams and the other content executives/brand teams across EU markets to create engaging content materials that attract and convert targeted audiences. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as be a great storyteller with the ability to adopt the style, tone and voice of our business.





Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:
  • Researching and creating a range of high-quality and engaging content (articles, product related content, videos, web pages, etc.) on a range of topics for print, packaging, social and web
  • Supporting the local EU marketing teams with the day-to-day creation of content and proofreading as and when required
  • Managing content that is uploaded to the DTC platform to ensure it is accurate and adheres to the brand guidelines
  • Working with the Digital marketing team and external agencies to manage the brand's main social media accounts and presence (in-line with corporate guidelines) including Twitter, Facebook and potentially additional channels that may be deemed relevant
  • Playing a key role in onsite SEO strategy delivery, driving keyword usage and best practice on all customer-facing digital channels
  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting on the effectiveness of content and making recommendations for key improvements and refinements
  • Working with Global and Local digital and brand teams to improve the quality of all content (email communications, websites, internal sites, blogs, social media, etc.) across the DTC platforms
  • Liaising and collaborating with counterparts in other EU markets to repurpose content for localisation and rollout across multiple DTC platforms
  • Collaborating with designers, marketeers and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience




Skills

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a Marketing/PR/Journalism-related discipline. You will have experience of working within a similar content-focussed role and will be able to demonstrate good attention to detail to ensure minimal copy errors and amends. With a passion for translating complex concepts into clear and compelling storytelling, you will be able to show creative flair in order to create engaging customer-facing content/ communications. With excellent written and verbal skills you will also be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload. Competent in the use of Microsoft applications, experience in writing SEO-optimised content would be beneficial.
