Regional Sales Manager - ON TRADE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Sales Manager to join a global leading premium drinks brand. You will be responsible for leading and motivating the field sales team to deliver effective results and maximise business within the On Trade channel.

This premium drinks business are already number 1 in their category but remain focussed on increasing client and customer enthusiasm and desire for their portfolio.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Management and Development of the regional sales team of 9 including coaching, recruitment and performance monitoring
  • Live and breathe the company culture of this fantastic brand, and ensure your sales team do as well
  • Development of on-premise marketing initiatives with national marketing manager and execution of this
  • Regional on-premise budget responsibility and execution of this in line with national business plan

COMPETENCY REQUIRMENTS

  • Strong team management experience
  • Strong on-premise industry knowledge and contacts
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Coaching:  Providing instruction, support and guidance enabling your team to improve, including creation of training sessions and plans
  • Performance Management:  Determining and communicating direction; monitoring progress against objectives; reviewing and appraising the work of others; providing performance feedback
  • Commercial acumen & budget management

Caselton Clark was founded 10 years ago by Mike South. As Head of On-Trade at Red Bull he found that agencies didn’t understand his needs and didn’t listen when he explained them. They were just interested in meeting their output KPI’s.

So he decided to start an agency that work in partnership with their clients and send just 2-3 qualified candidates where the fit is perfect for both parties.

The team at Caselton Clark are different. They all have FMCG backgrounds so they understand the roles they work on and never suggest candidates until they’ve found the perfect fit.
