Lenovo Regional Development Manager

Reports to: National Field Training Manager

Location: South West of England

Team: Lenovo Full time Field Team

Package: £20,000 for the first 6 months’ probation, after this period salary increase to £21,000 + £2,000 Bonus, company car with fuel card, laptop and mobile

The story so far

As a Lenovo Regional Development Manager, you will be required to deliver training, brand awareness and sales support activities on behalf of Lenovo, within selected high profile retail partners. The Regional Development Team will be responsible for brand engagement, product training, demonstrations, merchandising and sales within their given stores, ultimately increasing the client sales. 

You will also ensure strong relationships are gained and developed with key colleagues/store managers within these stores ensuring longevity of brand support, brand presence and sales.

Pivotal to the role is to proactively represent Lenovo & effectively communicate the brand and products USP’s messages.

What’s expected of me in my role?

Lenovo Evangelist

  • Act as an ambassador for both RMG and Lenovo in stores. 
  • Proactively demonstrate Lenovo product features and technology to customers/store colleagues, ensuring the corresponding benefits and advantages are clearly communicated
  • Build rapport with customers & store colleagues, leaving a positive lasting impression about Lenovo
  • To evangelise and articulate the benefits of Lenovo products to mass audiences within a wide variety of different training environments

Sales

  • Engage in direct sales/demonstrations with customers within your designated region
  • Support the sales process of Lenovo products in store and work in conjunction with stores and sales colleagues throughout the sale process (ensuring retail specific guidelines are followed)
  • Assisting and advising the store colleagues in the best/appropriate way to sell Lenovo products
  • Leverage relationships on a local level to propel Lenovo sales via negotiating box stacks, increased ranging & POS and additional floor space where appropriate
  • To support sell out and Evangelise key brand messages at Lenovo regional or national events using your superior knowledge of the product portfolio to boost sales

General

  • Ensure a professional approach and appearance is delivered at all times
  • Ensure days and hours of confirmed work are adhered to, and in store processes are followed
  • To share ‘best practice within the team

Administration

  • Maintain strict mileage records and submit to Retail Marketing Group Limited
  • Submit monthly expenses as directed by Retail Marketing Group Ltd
  • Complete all call reporting information by COP each day, including uploading of photographs.
  • Authorise and submit weekly online reports 
  • Complete event reports and ad hoc reports as directed by your Line Manager and / or client
  • Complete your calendar updates weekly (and submit) as directed by your Line Manager
