Company

Our Client is a leading distribution company specialising in the fresh produce food industry. Their fleet of temperature controlled vehicles supply the UK’s Wholesale and foodservice sectors with the best quality fresh produce from around the world. They are currently going through a period of growth and wish to add a Business Development Manager to their team.

Role

• Develop strategies to create new business opportunities in Fresh Produce logistics within the UK wholesale and foodservice sectors
• Establish and maintain productive customer relationships via regular communication
• Gather customer information to ensure a full understanding of their business requirements whilst monitoring satisfaction and loyalty through regular visits
• Cold call as appropriate within the assigned market and geographical area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
• Grow your P&L with the support network of a market leading company

Person

• Excellent track record in fresh produce logistics sales
• Ability to establish productive relationships with key decision-makers
• Ability to work autonomously to a high level and report accurately to directors
• Entrepreneurial, driven professional with ability to succeed in fast paced environment
• Import/Export experience beneficial

Package

£40k - 45k + Bonus + Car + Healthcare + Pension
