My client is a family owned business that have shown fantastic growth over the years. They distribute to the UK as well as internationally and have distribution centres across the world.  This is a business who look after their employees and reward hard work, some of their employees have been with them for over 20 years and have shown progression in that time.

Due to plans to grow the business further they are now looking for a Despatch Manager. As Despatch Manager you will be responsible for managing the despatch of goods, in both single shipment and pallet form. You will work with Sage systems and be responsible for pricing lists and putting in place new processes to ensure the department runs smoothly. You will work with leading retailers such as Amazon and Argos and be responsible for ensuring deliveries are made on time. You will manage a team of four and be an encouraging and energetic personality to drive the team forward.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must have at least five years’ experience in a similar position and be working with Sage Systems. You will need to have experience working with retailers such as Amazon and Argos and understand their delivery requirements or will have worked in a similar position for a retailer. Man-management experience is preferred but someone who can demonstrate the skills and drive to motivate a team will also be considered.
