Are you a talented and ambitious Buyer/Senior Buyer? Do you have experience buying packaging on a regional or global scale? Do you have experience implementing the 7 step strategic sourcing process? If that’s you then read on for more information on this excellent opportunity!

As a Senior Buyer you will be responsible for sourcing across European and Global markets, working across several product categories, countries and manufacturing sites. You’ll develop procurement category strategies and will oversee a total spend in the tens of millions of pounds.
Responsibilities include:

  • Developing procurement strategies using the 7 step strategic sourcing process;
  • Develop and manage a team of Buyers/Junior Buyers;
  • Managing a category with a high number of SKU’s and a long list of bill of materials;

Successful candidates will have:

  • Experience managing spend of £30 million+ per annum;
  • Excellent understanding of the 7 step strategic sourcing plan;
  • European/Global sourcing experience;
  • Proven experience leading a team
