National Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting the needs of customers within established clear standards of performance, showing initiative and innovation 
  • Introducing sector specific offerings to meet customer needs
  • Developing robust relationships with the account – at all relevant levels
  • Developing account acquisition strategies in line with business objectives
  • Maximising account sales and profit
  • Anticipation and reaction to continual market changes including feeding back centrally any new product/solution opportunities
  •  Forecasting of account stock requirements and management of the extended supply chain
  • Developing and maintaining an active prospects list
  • Providing information to Diversey Care team members and managers about actions and needs
  • Understanding the competitor offering and how we compete
  • Effective interaction and influencing with Field sales teams
  • Mobilising the appropriate resources to win funnel targets

The Individual:

You will ideally have some or all of the following:

  • Credibility and record of success in B2B sales
  • Breadth of experience across various business sectors
  • Regional/National Distributor & Channel knowledge                                                                                                                                                                                       
  • Experience with senior level customer contacts
  • Ability to select the appropriate programmes to meet customer needs
  • Ability to influence and motivate sales force

You should: 

  • Possess strong negotiating skills
  • Be team orientated with good interpersonal skills
  • Have strong planning and organisational competence
  • Have effective communication skills both written and verbally
