Senior Vegetable Buyer

Two senior level buying roles with an expanding group and the opportunity to manage a new team of buyers; one across the vegetable category and the other in co-pack (3^rd party manufacturing).

A leading, international food manufacturer with sites across Europe and geared for growth moving into 2018 offering structured, performance based career progression and full ownership over their buyers’ respective categories.

Role

You will be accountable for the companies Co-Pack buying across either meals or vegetables. The roles are very fast paced and will involve extensive stakeholder management across numerous European sites. As these categories are seasonal, there will be plenty of opportunity to get stuck into contract management & negotiation and equally plenty of opportunity to drive further cost out of the business.

Person

You will have at least 5 years’ experience as a buyer, ideally with a focus on direct buying or packaging and an ability to listen to and advise internal stakeholders to strengthen relationships across the group.

You will be target driven, and should want to make a quick impact in a role that will allow you to take full accountability for your spend and supplier base.
