New Business Development/National Accounts Manager
Leading direct mail company Jersey Choice, trading as Jersey Plants Direct and Gardening Direct, is looking for a New Business Development/National Accounts manager to develop the company's established direct to consumer plants business via rapidly growing alternative routes to market.
Jersey Choice has for the last 15 years been the leading producer and distributor of seedlings and other plants direct to consumers across the UK. The high quality product range, together with the company's optimised distribution network and attractive value proposition, make Jersey Choice plants an ideal product range for retailers and others to promote via a partnership arrangement.
An entrepreneurially minded sales professional is wanted to work with identified and new retail and wholesale partners to grow the Jersey Choice reach.
The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing orientation, experience in a retail environment and a solid knowledge of ecommerce and digital channels.
She/he will be able to interact comfortably with a wide variety of disciplines and across all levels in partner organisations. These will include CEO's, the Marketing and Sales divisions as well as Buying and IT. She/he needs to be an enthusiastic self-starter with excellent people skills and the ability to project manage new ideas in well established organisations. An existing knowledge of the retail home and garden or horticultural space would be a definite advantage.
The ideal candidate will be based in the UK, working either from home or a serviced office and spend the majority of their time with selected partners designing and implementing co-operative ventures. She/he will also liaise closely with the Jersey Choice executive team in Jersey.
