NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

£40-45k doe / Pension / Life Assurance / Critical Illness / Private Medical / Company Car 

S&B Herba Foods Ltd are food importers, processors and market leaders in supplying the Manufacturing, Wholesale, Ethnic and Retail Sectors.  We are part of the Ebro Foods Group, the largest Rice Company and second largest Pasta Company in the world.

We are looking for an energetic, results driven National Account Manager with at least 3 years experience and a proven track record in FMCG. The role entails helping us build our growing range of Healthy Eating convenience products in the Retail sector under an existing well known Brand.  This is an exciting time for our Company for the right person with significant investment to develop this side of our business further.

To help us manage our existing business and launch these new products we are looking to recruit a National Account Manager – Major Multiples, to be based in the South East, with the following responsibilities and skills set:

Responsibilities 

  • Deliver both existing and future Business Plans with Major Multiples
  • Grow our Private label business with the Multiples
  • Develop Branded business via new listings and NPD
  • Work closely with the Brand Manager & Marketing Manager to build brand equity
  • To create an agreed annual sales plans for each retailer 
  • Develop promotional packages to increase awareness and achieve sales targets
  • Liaising with Retailers to develop forecasts to assist Purchasing Departments

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experienced individual of graduate calibre with formal training background in sales and account management
  • A strong, proven track record of category growth in terms of turnover, range extension and profit
  • Strong commercial awareness 
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Ambitious individual with the drive to produce results & win new business
  • Demonstrate professionalism, confidence and motivation
  • Strong networking and influencing skills at all levels
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Possess excellent attention to detail
