The Company; 

The company are a leading hypermarket group with stores across the Middle East, Africa and Asia. They are looking for management personnel to support the business growth of the company across their flagship stores in the hubs of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and surroundings.  

What we are looking for; 

We are looking for experienced Retail Store Managers from the UK willing to relocate to the UAE during Q1 2018

You’ll be working in the company’s flagship stores across Dubai & Abu Dhabi 

Role and responsibilities; 

The store manager is the direct manager of each market branch. You will be in charge of looking after all employees in the store. 

  • Participate in the development of the National concept and guarantee the application within the Country
  • Gather and analyse market information on Country level and propose/take corrective actions in order to build on the existing strengths and to react on competitors advantages
  • Provide accurate information to HO teams and all supermarket teams
  • Responsible for the Performance Management of the team: 
  • Setting objectives for the direct reports - which are in-line with the company and department targets 
  • Carrying out performance analysis with regular feedback to direct reports and ensuring that this is further deployed within the team
  • Identify employees with high potential, growth and propose further development
  • Identify and recommend training needs for the team and follow up on the implementation (TNA)
  • Develop and implement on the job-training for the team
  • Promote and practise communication and participatory management within the team;

Experienced/skills required; 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in store management 
  • Process orientated 
  • Organised and good communicator 
  • Time management 
  • Full professional proficiency in English

  • Salaries from £45,000 to £100,000 (depending on experience) 
  • Relocation package: £4,000 to £6,000
