This is a full time, permanent role based from our offices in Eccles near Manchester and in return for your hard work and commitment to help achieve our goals you will receive a up to £35,000 + Benefits.

In the year to March 2017, sales totalling £3.01 billion were collected by the customer from the group’s branches and sales totalling £2.32 billion were delivered to the Company’s customer premises.
Based from our Eccles office (Manchester) the Commercial Analyst will play a key a role within our Commercial / Finance team. Reporting to our Commercial Finance Manager you will support one of the Directors of Trading in proactively managing Commercial Gross. We will give you all the tools and support to make a difference.
Your key responsibilities and duties within the role as Commercial Analyst will consist of:
- Influencing Category Managers to ensure understanding of margin and central income
- Be the financial expert for the Category team.
- Undertake analysis of the major drivers of category growth e.g. pricing, promotions etc.
- Identify future Risk & Opportunity
To apply for the role of Commercial Analyst you will have previous experience of working in a finance function and posses strong analytical skills with advanced Excel Skills. It would desirable if you are working towards a financial qualification (ACCA / CIMA) and have a FMCG, Wholesale or Retail Background.
Although the role is primarily based out of Eccles, there will be a requirement for regular travel to work from Booker's Support Centre in Wellingborough, as required by the business.
