The company:
A market leading manufacturer of high quality, branded office products, our client is a well respected brand in the stationery industry.
The role:
You will be responsible for the strategic management of key B2B channel customer accounts on a national basis, maximising all sales opportunities within the accounts. Accounts will include key customers ranging from: contract stationery accounts such as Lyreco, Office Depot and Staples; education supplier accounts such as YPO, ESPO and Findel to buying group accounts.
The person:
Currently operating within the branded consumer goods sector, you will be self motivated, driven, organised, a creative thinker and results orientated person with a positive outlook and comfortable in dealing with senior buyers. With customers based nationally you will be sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel to customer appointments within the UK.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who has either been in a field sales role for a couple of years and now looking to make the first step into key accounts; or who is already a junior key account manager looking for their next challenge. Candidates with experience of selling to B2B or direct to retail channels will both be considered.
With an analytical nature, you will be numerate and have excellent IT skills including the proficient use of Excel.
