National Account Manager
Overview

We have an opportunity for a National Account Manager to join our sales team in Consumer Goods working with Discounters to help achieve maximum sales potential, maximum distribution and maximum Gross Contribution from the full available range of Essity Products.
Main Tasks
- To ensure that plans are in place and constantly reviewed for nominated accounts
- Identify and optimise growth opportunities within nominated accounts; manage the P&L
- Implement a promotional programme, within defined accounts, in line with company objectives and strategy
- Identify and recommend new business opportunities
- Manage any discrepancies within accounts, escalating as necessary
- Work with third party sales teams to motivate and manage, to maximise business opportunities
- Ensure all accounts are regularly appraised
- Ensure all administration is completed on time and accurately, both internal and external
- Ensure all internal procedures and processes are adhered to
Key Competencies
- Experience within the FMCG market in the UK is essential
- Proven experience at managing FMCG National Accounts
- Proficient at administrative tasks
- Self Development
- Degree (or equivalent) educated
Additional Information
This is a home based position, flexibility to travel to be based from the offices in Manchester a couple of days a week will be required.
