Location – Home Based
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading global drinks business. They boast an enviable portfolio of wine, spirits and ciders that have won numerous industry accolades. Having built a talented commercial team in the UK over the past 18 months they have achieved great success across both the On and Off Trade. Due to their growth as a business they are now looking to recruit a talented National Sales Manager to take control of their UK On Trade business.
As National Sales Manager you will play a huge role in the implementation the On-Trade strategy. You will have direct responsibility for the management of a team of 4 individuals including a number of National Account and Regional Account Managers. This team will grow significantly as they continue to recruit over the next 12 months and ultimately you will be accountable for a team of approximately 10 people. Your primary function will be to lead, coach and develop the members of your team whilst also using your prior experience and contacts to develop relationships across all areas of the On-Trade.
To be considered for this opportunity must have a thorough understanding of the UK On-Trade coupled with proven leadership capabilities. You will have an excellent knowledge of either the wine or spirits category and will preferably have the relevant WSET qualifications. It is essential that you are an autonomous, dynamic and proactive individual with the tenacity to succeed. The ability to empower and motivate a varied team whilst providing clear direction and strategy is also imperative.
