Demand Planner | FMCG

Our client is an industry known growing design led pet business based in Hertfordshire. They are looking for a highly organised and motivated Demand Planner to join their team. There are 1000's of products in their range, across dog, cat, small pet and wild bird categories.


The Job

Develop a complete understanding of the AGR forecasting tool and the data feed between systems used.
Create and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their future orders are reflected in AGR.
Review forecast with customer periodically and confirm volumes prior to purchase order placement with vendor.
Recommend system enhancements to ensure forecast accuracy is optimal and reflect customer requirements.
Recommend process enhancements to support business growth in terms of forecasting KPI's and reporting.
Manage new product launches & listings/ delisting with customers.
Manage Xmas orders with customer in terms of volumes forecasted and bought following up with Planner on stock delivery into the Warehouse and Distribution Analyst on delivery to customer warehouse.
Responsible for forecast accuracy KPI, inventory stock holding and out of stocks for delegated customers.


You

Have a strong understanding of wholesale with min 5 years FMCG experience.
Highly computer literate - excellent Excel and analytics skills.
Knowledge of the AGR forecasting and planning system would be an advantage.
Have experience of working collaboratively with retailers and having the "Customer comes first" mentality.
Diligent in completion of tasks.
Strong team player with excellent time management skills.
Demonstrate ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend change.
