Soreen head office is based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

Job summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving incremental sales from existing wholesale and food service customers, by engaging with end users and regional contacts.

Soreen has developed a range of on the go and snacking products and are seeking to drive distribution and sales within the food service sector.

We are looking to recruit 2 Key Account Managers (one for North region, one for South region), reporting to the SNAM responsible for this channel to help drive end user engagement and deliver stretching sales and availability targets.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Drive end user engagement in clearly defined channels (such as health and education)
  • Engage with head office National Account telesales teams to drive sales and distribution of Soreen products
  • Successfully implement nationally agreed activity and maximise end user impact
  • Identify new opportunities within Foodservice and Foodservice wholesale at a regional level
  • Report regularly on availability
  • Provide market intelligence and insight from the field

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Experience within Foodservice with end user and wholesale accounts
  • In depth knowledge of listings process and buying procedure of managed accounts
  • Extensive market and sector knowledge
  • Education and NHS experience
  • Key account exposure
  • Experience of volume and P&L forecasting
  • Passion and drive to deliver results
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to establish and build long term relationships
  • Able to thrive under pressure
  • Strong team working ethic
  • Comfortable working independently but within a structured framework
  • A desire to succeed and deliver results
