One of Europe’s most successful manufacturers of branded health food products have created an opportunity for a Senior National Account Manager to join the team. Globally, the brand has a presence in 28 countries turning over in excess of €400m, within the UK they are the No.1 brand in their category. The instantly recognised brand has a strong presence across the Grocery Multiples as well as the Convenience channel. The business remains highly profitable, and has enjoyed extensive growth for several consecutive years. Following growth of the UK business, they are now looking to appoint a Senior National Account Manager.
Role
As National Account Manager you will take direct responsibility for the entire Tesco estate as well as the Convenience channel. You will lead all aspects of the company agenda by building a strong relationship with Tesco. In addition to the long term development of the Tesco business you will develop and execute a Convenience channel strategy that delivers strong growth within existing and new customer targets. Reporting into the Sales Director you will work closely with the NPD, Marketing and Category teams, have full P&L responsibility, and develop a joint business plans whilst ensuring delivery of agreed KPIs.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a proven track record developing sales within Tesco. Exposure to the Convenience channel would be beneficial. As for product background, experience with branded food products is essential. You will be possess strong analytical and influencing skills and well as being a real team player. It is essential you can demonstrate the ability to progress further as the business are planning for significant growth.
From a location perspective, the contract is office based. You will be expected to be in their Berkshire office 3 days per week.
