Customer Account Manager Bristol / Avon - Somerset

Wholesale / Retail Account Base

Ideal location:   Bristol / Surrounding area

Basic salary £26,000 + £7,500 Bonus + Car + Daily Lunch Allowance + Life Assurance + Pension.

Our client is a major non-food FMCG company with brands recognised throughout the world currently selling to over 95 countries. We sell to a wide range of markets and customers with some of the most recognised brands in the market, we are experts in delivering category growth for our extensive network of customers primarily within Wholesale & Grocery.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic, commercial and entrepreneurial individual to join our sales team working within the Cash & Carry, Retail and Wholesale channels.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will have a portfolio of active accounts to grow and develop whilst always looking at potential new business development. You will manage all promotional activity within a range of Cash & Carries and their key independent customers. 

You will be tasked on increasing sales, distribution and display of brands within these outlets, managing a field sales territory that will provide significant profit to us, this position is home based.

Current customers include grocery retailers, independents and Wholesale / Cash & Carries.

You will currently be working in field sales within FMCG with at least 12 months sales experience educated to degree level with strong negotiation / presentation skills.

We are looking for candidates who want an opportunity in the long term with structured sales and training and given the autonomy to make decisions to develop / grow your territory.

Our client offers the training to progress your career into national accounts. You must have a real passion for sales and an ability to influence at a variety of levels.

We will help to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to develop, you will be trained in merchandising techniques to ensure continuous availability of our products.
