Location: North M62 or Midlands M1

This entrepreneurial added value UK Midlands based food business has successfully grown out of the ground over the last 6 years and will hit c£35m this year with a three year strategic growth plan to achieve £50m. Part of a larger €120m international food group the business is led by a dynamic and sharp senior leadership management team. They have a proven track record and ability to 'feel the pulse' of the consumer across a number of snacking product categories, as well as the charisma to build highly effective senior trading relationships which has provided the foundation to profitably grow the business across both brand and own label.

The role

Having developed a solid account growth strategy and a strong business platform including new product development projects the business is set to catapult with Morrisons in 2018. As such, the company have a need to recruit an experienced Account Director who will take full responsibility for spearheading the commercial agenda both internally and externally with all stakeholders.

Working across all areas of the business your role will be to lead and coordinate a cross functional team in managing both existing products and execute a number of new exciting business development projects through 2018.

The Candidate

  • Highly experienced in managing Morrisons including strong senior management contacts and network.
  • Modern structured approach to customer management development with a major food and drink branded company.
  • Strong customer leadership qualities with an exceptional understanding of how to get things done, working collaboratively both internally and externally with all stakeholders.
  • You are smart, engaging, highly personable with the gravitas to 'hold the floor' up to board level.
  • Proven ability to shape customer led strategies that can coordinate both your internal business objectives and develop mutually profit driven products.
  • You are highly ambitious with the drive and determination to achieve your business goals, step up your commercial career and importantly the hunger to get the financial rewards based on your commercial performance delivery - the sky is the limit with this role!
