Our client is a privately owned FMCG holding company providing a strong financial base and central resources for four divisions operating within brand ownership and sales & marketing across a number of different food, drink and non-food categories. They are also a major player in the “Ready-to-Drink” market in both the on and off-trade markets.

Our client has some really exciting future growth plans for their Drinks brands, supported by significant marketing investment. They are now seeking a Customer Development Executive to join their National Field Sales team in the North West region. Candidates should already reside in the North West (ideally in the Liverpool/Manchester/M62 corridor area) or be prepared to relocate and must possess a valid UK driving licence.

The Customer Development Executive role will have direct responsibility for developing key Drink brands in a broad mix of accounts, ranging from managed retail groups, wholesalers and independent operators such as on-trade pubs and bars, 4 & 5 star hotels, restaurants, quality cafés, premium leisure outlets, major tourist attractions and entertainment venues. Your key responsibility will be to drive listings, distribution and sales across the product range through the activation of brand visibility and brand support initiatives at the point of purchase. The role will provide plenty of variety and challenge in terms of both customer and product responsibility.

We are looking for graduate calibre individuals with a minimum of c.12months previous sales experience gained ideally in a drinks/bar or retail convenience/wholesale environment and can display a genuine passion for the drinks industry. Alternatively, you may be a recent graduate with some relevant sales or marketing work experience gained from an internship or work placement period. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility that will test your influencing skills from day one.
