As a company dealing with market leading brands, my client is now looking for its next superstar to join its ever evolving company. This well-known cosmetics and personal care business trade majorly within High Street and Grocery and distribute globally. They are currently enjoying huge growth along with their increasing brand catalogue. This business prides themselves on their less than corporate culture, allowing people to grow and work autonomously as a collective team with great emphasis on progression.
Due to growth, they are now looking to invest in an Export Manager, tasked to work across the whole of their branded portfolio within the Benelux market. Specifically working with retail accounts such as Kruidvat and Di in Belgium, and Etos and Douglas in Holland, you will be targeted to grow this £1m base by launching additional brands and securing new retail partnerships. This is an extremely strategic role which requires detailed involvement in the retailer’s JBPs and marketing plans. The successful applicant will spend substantial time travelling to Belgium and Holland in order to build strong and mutually profitable working relationships within the markets. You would report into the International Sales Director and work within a strong sales team with admin support.
It is imperative than you are fluent or have a working ability of the French and/or Dutch language. A successful candidate will be in an export management role currently, working within the cosmetics and personal care market. Ideally you will have worked with the relevant accounts previously with a 360 knowledge of both sales and marketing strategies in the relevant markets. Experience launching a brand into a new market, as well as a strong knowledge of the Benelux region is necessary.
