Excellent South East Foodservice position managing Group Accounts

THE ROLE:
This is a superb opportunity to join one of the most exciting and fastest growing Foodservice companies in the UK.
We are seeking to appoint a proven Foodservice sales professional to manage and develop our Group account clients within the South London/Sussex/Surrey/Kent areas.
This position will involve initially inheriting a thriving portfolio of existing accounts with turnover circa £2 Million.
The successful individual will be responsible for retention and growth of these accounts through effective cross selling and increasing “share of wallet”.
There will also be responsibility for developing business by tendering for and winning further group business across the area.
As we are able to provide a one stop solution to our clients, the target sectors within Foodservice are varied and include pub groups, hotel groups, coffee shop groups, education, contract catering and leisure.

THE APPLICANT.
We are seeking to attract experienced candidates with a target driven approach to sales and a dynamic approach to account management and business development.
• Candidates are preferred to have field sales experience selling food solutions for a foodservice wholesaler.
• Candidates with experience selling other product ranges into the foodservice sector, including non food, catering equipment, seafood or fresh produce will also be considered.
• Candidates with a background as a qualified chef or catering qualifications with field sales experience in other areas will also be considered.
• Candidates with a proven Field Sales background in other disciplines with a passion and interest in food will also be welcomed.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong relationship building skills combined with a flair for new business.
