Opportunity

The Head of Audit position is a newly created role in response to the increased scale and complexity of the Froneri business. The role will report to the Audit Committee and provide group-wide coverage across all territories worldwide.

It is essential that the appointed individual helps to add value to the organisation through a commercial mind-set and an understanding of the key business drivers.

Whilst the base location is flexible, candidates must be mobile and be prepared to travel extensively worldwide. The role will require a hands-on approach yet require appropriate communication style with senior executives.

Your key areas of focus will include developing and delivering the group internal audit strategy and plan in order to meet the requirements of the Audit Committee strategy.

Specifically

• Direct and lead operational, financial and compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.

• Determine compliance with selected policies, procedures, and regulations, to evaluate and increase efficiency and/or effectiveness of internal control systems to promote good corporate governance across the group.

Candidate Requirements

• You will have worked at a senior level ideally within a relevant/similar organisation and have sound experience of international auditing in a large organisation and/or professional services firm.
• It is important that you can demonstrable strong audit and commercial experience and a track record of supporting business growth.
• Experience of leading and developing cross-functional teams and on an international level.
• Well-developed analytical, oral and presentation/communication skills.
• Possess the gravitas to operate at a senior level and able to demonstrate the ability to influence change and build strong audit management and controls within the business.
