New Product Launch Manager

Our client is a major supplier of fresh food to the major UK multiples and as a result of continued expansion and reorganisation is looking to strengthen its team with the appointment of a Product Launch Manager.

This new role will be to coordinate the product launch programme, from dealing with the NPD team, through to procurement, commercial, and manufacturing; the role is simple to launch new and redeveloped products on time and as smoothly as possible. The business has a mixed performance with product launching, some have gone smoothly whilst others haven't quite gone to plan!

It is therefore a really fast moving and exciting role where your great communication skills mixed with sound organisation skills will be complemented with a firm but diplomatic style.

This role will probably appeal to you if you either working in a planning, NPD or operational role but overall you must be someone who is organised, logical, diplomatic but firm and must be passionate about food, looking to further their career in a profitable, forward thinking and dynamic business.

The role is therefore fast and very varied and you will need to possess a 'hands on' attitude, as you will be coordinating different business functions to achieve a smooth transition of product idea to cases being delivered on time.
