My client is looking to take the UK market by storm and become market leaders in the next few years, offering a unique opportunity to build the business up and leave your footprint behind. As one of the Business Development Managers, you will be part of an ever growing team in the UK.

It will be your responsibility to mould and take ownership for the direction and implementation of the strategy within your territory through the designated route to market. It will pull on all of your sales and account management experience to date to negotiate product space in this highly profitable sector.

The Business Development Manager will join this FMCG business at a fantastic time whilst they have exceptional career opportunities to offer nationally. This is a role that will deliver on many levels and create fresh challenges in the South Coast.


The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Analysing opportunities for your territory
  • Taking ownership for your region and develop plans to increase distribution, visibility and awareness of the brand
  • Building and maintain strong relationships with the trade through ongoing dialogue and support
  • Driving results and exceed sales objectives for the South East of England
  • Providing business analyses and competitive data for the South East region to the MD


The successful candidate will be driven and self motivated with experience and/or exposure within the Tobacco industry. They will also be comfortable in negotiating and closing business responsible for owning the consumer journey thereafter.

Job Offer

The role offers an attractive salary of up to £35,000 plus company car and attractive bonus structure.
