UK role - based in the North of England
The Role: As National Account Manager you will responsible for developing and managing national and independent retail customers across the UK. Based 2 days a week from the company's premises in Manchester, you will spend the remainder of time visiting clients across the UK - driving a relatively new brand of outdoor clothing garments, including socks, hats and gloves to retailers within sporting goods and outdoor activities.
Your role will be to speak to store owners, managers and buyers in a highly proactive manner, as well as looking after a set of key accounts. A full company and product training course awaits the National Account Manager here as well as strong managerial support.
The Company: This family owned business has been established over 30 years and has ambitions to continued it's sustained growth through national retailers. They have been making waves in the outdoor industry since the 1980's and has now established major account relationships across the UK and Ireland.
For this National Account Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Strong field sales skills
- You will have a track record of selling into independent retailers
- An understanding of how shop owners and managers purchase is important
- Personable and adaptable candidates are required
