Export Sales Manager - Branded Beverages
The business we are representing is a fast-paced, leading supplier of premium, alcoholic beverages. They can boast a large portfolio of well-renowned brands and work in partnership with a number of major suppliers in the industry. Our client are also branching out into new product categories and sourcing new brands to add to the portfolio. They have a global business model and export to a number of markets across the world. They have a track record of growing sales and remaining profitable since being formed in recent years. The company can offer an entrepreneurial, close-knit and inclusive culture.
As Export Sales Manager you will report directly into the Managing Director with a view to further growing international markets. You will inherit a number of existing regions across Europe and Africa whilst also targeting new business in other regions. You will need to travel internationally on a monthly basis to visit your customers and maintain existing relationships. The role offers autonomy and the chance to shape an export sales strategy, overall budget and build the account base.
In order to be considered for the role you must have at least 2 years previous sales experience, ideally exporting food or beverage products. It may be that you have had some exposure to international sales and would view an Export Sales Manager role as the next step in your career. If you don't have international experience but are in FMCG and keen to move into this type of role you will be considered. You must have a commercial approach to business and the ability to work well with other functions such as operations and supply chain. Cultural fit is very important for our client, you must have a great attitude, be tenacious and keen to progress with an up and coming business in a growing category. Speaking other languages would be a helpful additional skill.
