Marketing Controller

Our client is a major supplier of fresh food to major UK multiples and food service suppliers. This well-established business pride themselves on their forward-thinking approach and have ambitious plans to grow their business further. As part of this continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Marketing Manager to help further develop the branded and own label offer to their major customers.

The role will be quite diverse; you will lead the 'blue sky' thinking with new ideas and products, working with the consumer insight teams to really tailor profitable, original new ideas and take them to market. In addition you will take on the trade marketing aspects for this business, developing the website, the social media presence and develop all the external company marketing. So a great role which will be a real challenge because of the wide remit. We are therefore looking for a creative marketer who can balance an ambitious NPD agenda along with managing the external PR and creative agencies.

This role has responsibility for leading the Marketing team in producing and implementing strategies to promote new and existing products. Evaluating all marketing campaigns, monitoring marketing and competitor activity with a view to the ongoing strategic development of future plans.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a seasoned market with a proven track record in managing a creative and PR agenda, managing all company communications and events as well as someone who is a free thinker, knowledgeable, driven, and proactive in keeping up to date with marketing trends.

The salary is negotiable upon experience + benefits.
