Catman Jobs are looking for a Category Manager to join a leading FMCG manufacturer in the East Midlands. 

The Business

Our client is one of the largest manufacturers in the UK for their category. Over past years they have gone from strength to strength acquiring growth & development along the way. To support the development and that of the longer term structure of the business, the multi-sited company is now recruiting a Category Manager. 

The Role

You will be involved with the development and implementation of category and shopper marketing strategies to drive category growth as a whole for the retailer. You will be involved in shopper marketing and insights, retailer presentations, data analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis and creating an environment for category captains on a consultative basis.  

The Person

Ideally you will already have a solid grounding in category analysis and data manipulation within an FMCG environment. Equally important is a driven can-do attitude and an analytical brain combined with the ability to use a variety of industry specific data tools.
