Commercial Strategy and Development Manager EMEA

The Advocate Group are partnered with a multibillion pound turnover FMCG business who are leaders in their field. They are looking to appoint a Commercial Strategy and Development Manager EMEA to join their global business.  They are a high profile Beverage company who are looking for the best talent to join their commercial team.

The ideal candidate will be involved in building the strategy of their long term plan and develop the commercial capability for ongoing success around EMEA. You will support the Commercial Strategy and Development Director to drive the international business across EMEA through clear defined, strong and clear commercial objectives. You will work with internal stakeholders and Bottling Partners and sales team to maximise business opportunities.  

You will be responsible for price strategies, driving and co-ordination of annual business plans for EMEA and ensuring all markets are clear of the annual objectives. Within this exciting role you will support the management of NPD strategy for new product launches. You will promote best practices and knowledge for ongoing commercial success across EMEA. You will track and analyse business performance against targets and influence international sales teams and stakeholders to improve performance across EMEA. As the Commercial Strategy and Development Manager EMEA you will play an instrumental part of the commercial strategy EMEA team.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy across EMEA
  • Develop, measure, plan and track annual business plans across EMEA.
  • Commercial development for local markets across EMEA.
  • Work with Bottling Partners leadership engagement.
  • Support in NPD strategy.
  • Work with internal partners and such as Sales, Marketing, Supply chain, NPD,
  • Support Commercial Strategy and Development Director to drive business development across EMEA.

The successful candidate:

  • Significant commercial and sales experience in FMCG and preferably beverages.
  • Experience of Commercial Management, Brands, Category, analytic, NPD, Project Management, Annual Business Plans. 
  • Experience interacting across international borders at multiple levels. 
  • Multi-lingual desirable  and strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Experience of interacting with and in an international matrix environment
