My client are a market leader within the paper tableware industry, manufacturing a quality tableware offer for the catering and retail sectors. The business have both branded and own label products. Offering the full solution in the tableware, bar accessories, party products, crackers, gift wrap and accessories categories.

Reporting to the National Account Controller you will be expected to manage and existing portfolio of accounts within the catering and retail channels, working towards achieving set sales KPI’s. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering agreed revenue and profit targets by working with their existing account base and wider sales team with an outlook to grow sales and achieve set objectives. You will be expected to coordinate all internal teams and sales processes to maximise the potential of the top accounts to ensure you exceed targets for profitable sales volume and achievement of strategic objectives in assigned accounts. Lead our customer account planning cycle to develop mutual performance milestones, whilst ensuring assigned customer needs and expectations are met by the company on an ongoing basis.  In addition, the role is responsible for identification and development of new business partnerships.

Depending on your home location, the role can be office or field/home based (working from home and visiting your account base), if field/home based you will be expected to be at the head office in Kent on average 2- 3 days per week.

You must be confident, persuasive and possess excellent communication skills both written and oral. You will need to be well organised and self-motivated in order to manage your time effectively. Experienced in negotiating and be able to deliver against our strategic customer objectives.

Experience:

  • Experience of managing accounts within the catering sector would be an advantage
  • Must be able to demonstrate longevity in previous roles
  • Experience selling a similar product portfolio would be an advantage
