Head of Sales Designate | Personal Care | Team Management

 

Paul Nyman Consultancy are working with a leading personal care and beauty business to recruit a Commercial Manager to be based from their site in the Home Counties.

The Business

  • Manufacturer of branded and private label personal care products
  • Customer base is concentrated on High street and Top 4 customers
  • Culture:
    • Investment – in personnel, customer relationships and products
    • Strategic – make decisions for the long term
    • Empowerment – give colleagues the autonomy and authority to deliver to their best

The Position

  • Commercial Manager who will come in as a Head of Sales designate
  • Head up a team of 3 within sales
  • Strategic remit dealing with key retailer customers at a senior level
  • Hands on role with expectation to deliver existing customer growth and potential for new business
  • Office requirement 3 days a week in northern/western Home Counties

About You

  • You will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience within FMCG in a senior commercial position
  • A working understanding of managing a team
  • Customer experience within top 4 and key high street health & beauty customers (Superdrug and Boots)
  • Experience in personal care/health and beauty category would be a bonus
  • Important to be comfortable working in a category led business and able to work with various data tools
