Reporting into the Category Director, this role sits within a commercial team and will lead a category management team for a high performing business area.
The key remit of the role is the development and implementation of the short and long term category strategy across all grocery customers, harnessing the talent in the team to deliver the plan. Utilising shopper and category insights the Category Lead will identify actionable opportunities to gain competitive advantage. By providing a thorough understanding of the customers strategy and needs you will leverage these insights to influence the sales and category strategy for key accounts.
This is a high profile role that requires a talented, ambitious individual with a talent for strategic thinking, team leadership and influencing. You will be commercially minded with an excellent track record of delivering results in a senior category management capacity.
