National Account Manager
Opportunity for a success driven, ambitious and dedicated FMCG sales professional to join a North based food manufacturer and contribute to its continues success.
A genuine market leading, branded food manufacturer with global presence in over 70 countries. The business are looking to develop their position in the UK and Ireland to ensure they stay ahead of the competition and rely heavily on their NPD team. The business operate with strong ethical practises and pride themselves on being not only ambitious but also a great place to work. The business operate with all the major retailers in the UK and are looking to develop their relationships further with Tesco, Sainsburys and into new avenues.
As the National Account Manager, you will be responsible for a range of commercial tasks reporting directly to the Head of Sales. Tactically, you will drive growth through new listings and tailored pack size strategy supporting recommendations on a rolling month activity plan that will enable delivery of budgeted objectives.
The position will require you to work cross functionally with Marketing, NPD, Production and Logistics and manage all aspects of accounts relationships with buyers, merchandisers and other key contacts. It is essential you obtain buy in from both internal and external departmental contacts and manage implementation. You will maintain a high level of awareness of market trends to identify opportunities to drive sales.
National Account Manager - Key Skills:
- Passion for food and working with the Top4 retailers is essential
- Current experience as National Account Manager within branded food manufacturing
- Highly self-motivated with determination to succeed
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Budget management and data analysis experience
- Proven, all round commercial acumen
- Strong creative thinking skills
- Based in North West England.
National Account Manager offering a basic salary dependent upon experience plus strong benefits package.
