Business Development Executive

Job title: Business Development Executive
Location: Home Based (Travel involved to Head Office and Customers)
Salary: circa £35,000 plus package.

Our client, a market leader in their sector is looking to recruit a driven and ambitious executive to join their commercial team. The Business Development Executive is responsible for supporting customer plans across the business while working with the wider sales teams and functions to share best practice and identify efficiencies which continuously improve business performance. The role is home based but includes roughly one day a week at the Norfolk site and a need to travel to customer head offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Support the Business Account Manager to deliver the annual budget targets for internal & external P&Ls.
*Responsibility for internal and customer administrative requirements across pricing, promotions and invoicing.
*Contribute to sales forecast for senior stakeholders.
*Develop a strong understanding of the category
*Build internal and external customer relationships
*Optimise customer engagement and think tank NPD ideas.
*Develop customer trading relationships from short term to long term.
*Share best practice across the business

REQUIREMENTS
*Experience in delivering customer support in a sales environment
*Commercial & numerate with a strong commitment for attention to detail
*Ability to utilise insight date which is capable of influencing internal and customer stakeholders
*Excellent communication skills - ability to articulate and engage in all forms
*Ambitious and driven character
*Initiative and autonomous working style
