Sales Development Manager UK | Fresh Food | Competitive
Our client is a well thought of service provider to the fresh food industry. For the last few years, their core focus has been on the export market, but the company has identified some key opportunities to start developing their sales in the UK once again. This has also ticked over for them, but they are now looking to hire a UK Sales Manager to focus on their domestic market.
You will be responsible for identifying, approaching and pitching to prospective companies within the fresh food and high care industries.
You will need to be well versed on the benefits of the company's products and services (full training will be provided) in order to sell them effectively.
Managing existing customers, whilst ensuring all business have a positive experience and will wish to utilise the services again.
You will ideally have a background in fresh food, high care or the food manufacturing industries.
Ideally this will be with a sales leaning, but if you have experience in operations and have the ability to sell, then this might be considered as well.
You will be able to adapt to a variety of approaches as required and know how to upsell where possible.
You will be given a good salary in order to perform your role as well as having the opportunity to improve this with a performance related bonus.
