The Client:

We are working with one of Britain's most successful cooperatives, and they are looking to recruit a Marketing Communication Assistant. As one of Britain's most successful and enduring cooperatives, our client is committed to putting their members' needs first.

The Job:

To support the Marketing Communications Manager in the delivery of our clients' internal and external communications activities.

Event Management:
Co-ordinating the logistics of national events.
Support the achievement and measurement of all event objectives.
Measure and evaluate RoI of events and suggest ways to improve their delivery.
Monitor and track budgets for all national events and report variances as appropriate.
Manage and control the inventory of event and brand equipment for all offices.

Social Media E Channel Management:
Execute and develop existing social media channels.
Develop under used platforms.
Manage Vlog recordings for internal and external use.
Deliver an annual plan for social media channel delivery.
Monitor social media analytics and identify areas which could be improved.
Publish and monitor Eshots to support marketing campaigns.

Maintain and co-ordinate staff sponsorship budget.
Process staff £4£ funding payments as approved by the Marketing Communications Manager.
Provide all national and regional branded sponsorship collateral, working with creative agencies, as required.

Organise internal events as requested by the Marketing Communications Manager.

Produce and develop a yearly plan for content and work with all contributors to ensure the timely generation of copy for the internal newsletter, also edit & publish the internal newsletter.
Maintain master presentation slide templates.

Maintain company website to ensure all content is accurate and up to date.
Publish content on the website as approved by the Marketing Communications Manager.
Support the Marketing Communications Manager with external press activities as required.
Co-ordinate all non-transactional mail shots by post, email and SMS.

Experience:
1-2 years proven experience working within an events management type role specifically having: onsite delivery, social media management and customer service.

Competencies, Skills & Personal Qualities:
Excellent and confident communication skills.
Excellent organisation skills with a very strong attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
A forward thinking problem solver.
Ability to build effective relationships to deliver results.
Ability to work on their own initiative and within a small team.
A creative thinker, good negotiator.
Strong time management, prioritisation skills and multi-tasker.
Ability to be a self-starter.
Strong proof reader
