Newly Qualified Accountant

Are you an ambitious, newly qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) Accountant looking to progress within an established and successful food business? I am recruiting for a food business that supply to major supermarket retailers. They are looking for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis to support and report into the Finance Director.


The Role

This is a varied job role, where you'll be producing monthly management accounts, budgeting, costings, balance sheet reconciliations, managing the ledgers and assisting in the month end and year end processes. As part of your role you'll work closely with the Finance Director and the Commercial teams, providing financial information to help drive the business forward.


About you

You will have a good understanding of the fresh produce sector as you'll have previous experience working within a finance team in a food/fresh produce or agricultural business. You'll hold a recognised finance qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) and be driven and motivated to progress. As you'll possess fantastic communication skills, you'll be confident in liaising with non-finance stakeholders within the business. Good systems experiences on Prophet and Excel is also preferable for this position.
