National Account Controller - Discounters (12 month FTC)
My client is one of the largest and well-known companies in the drinks industry and they own a wide range of household brands. They employ just under 5,000 people worldwide and turnover 1.5bn. Despite their size, they invest a lot of time and attention in to each individual employee and have subsequently won several employer awards. With their ambitious 2020 plan well underway, it's a fantastic time to join the organisation and an exciting Controller-level opening has just come up, working on one of their largest customers.
In this role, you will be managing their Discounter channel, which is worth over 20% of the entire At Home channel. You will be responsible for leading 3 NAMs to deliver the company's annual plan across a diverse customer base. This is a unique, diverse role and, as such, you will be responsible for the development of the overall Discounter strategy to deliver company volume, revenue, and profit.
To excel in this position, you will be a high achiever with and impressive track record and a strategic mindset. You will have prior man-management experience and will be confident in developing and leading teams. Previous experience with managing large Discounter/Retail/Cash & Carry accounts highly desirable. Whilst the opportunity is a FTC, there will be opportunities to move to a permanent position for the right candidate.
