We have a great opening for an ambitious consumer focussed account executive to join a truly forward thinking, award winning food manufacturing business as a Commercial Account Manager.
The company, whose fresh products include everything from Food to Go Salads & Pasta, Deli Fillings and Prepared Vegetables, are in a major growth phase having doubled in size over the last 3 years. They have won no less than 7 awards for product innovation during this period. The results of this success have led to plans to now build a new 15m production facility.
The role of Commercial Account Manager, which reports into the Commercial Director, gives you full P&L responsibility with one of the company's major existing accounts - possibly even two. You'll work really closely with the customer to not only understand their buying habits but that of their consumers. This is not a door knocking commodity sales position but a highly consultative commercial role and as such you will be expected to fully engross yourself within the Food To Go sector, working hard to understand different product lines, production methods and timescales etc.
This would be a great role for an experienced Account Executive that is keen to make that next step in their career. It's very much about attitude too. You will be working with a Commercial Director and a broader sales team that are absolutely willing and keen to invest time and effort into you and your career. The progression opportunities are real and your ongoing development is essential to the success of the business.
You need to be a foodie and if you don't know what that means then you probably aren't one! In all seriousness, due to the nature of these products it's pretty much essential you have had a least some experience in food sales to either retail or foodservice customers
It is essential that you are based in the East Midlands/Lincolnshire or be willing to relocate to the region. Sorry, no flexibility on this!!
In return you will receive a base salary of 30000 - 45000 dependent on experience along with a company car/car allowance, bonus and pension.
