Interim Senior National Account Manager - Waitrose
One of Europe’s most successful manufacturers of chilled food products have created a new opportunity for an Interim Senior National Account Manager to drive and further develop their presence within their retail division. The parent company turnovers in excess of £1.2bn, they have established themselves as a leading supplier into both the Retail and Foodservice channels. Within this business division they operate from 5 UK sites, supplying Waitrose with over 400 products across a number of chilled categories. The trading relationship with Waitrose dates back to the 1980s and is based on trust and mutual values.
An Interim Senior National Manager you will be responsible for the day to day relationship and management of the longstanding Waitrose account valued in excess of £40m. Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will also take direct management and mentoring of 1 direct report. You will be tasked with maintaining and developing profitable business whilst taking overall ownership of the product category. You will work closely with a number of internal departments such as the Planning, Production, Logistics, Finance, Technical and NPD teams.
To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with extensive account management experience within a short shelf life private label product category. You will have a strong understanding of the Waitrose account and their systems and processes. It is important you can communicate both internal with the other teams as well as externally with the customer.
