Area Sales Manager - South East
Our client is well known for its extensive ranges of plastic storage for home , garden and DIY use. Manufactured in the UK their products are widely available across the UK Retail channel.
They are currently looking for a dynamic, self- motivated Area Sales Executive Manager to manage a territory covering the South of London and the M25,Kent,Sussex,Surrey and Essex.
You will be responsible for managing existing and developing new business. Selling to independent retailers, garden centres, merchants and wholesalers. You must be able to create new leads to continually grow your area. You should have strong journey planning and territory development skills.
You should have strong presentation and communication skills together with a ‘can-do’ approach. You must be a self- starter able to work on your own initiative and be driven and motivated to achieve sales and distribution targets, maximising product sell-in and identifying opportunities for product sales training.
Preference will be given to candidates with a background in field sales gained in the FMCG non-food arena ideally DIY or housewares with a proven track record of sales success selling to independent retailers and wholesalers.
Our client is happy to consider candidates who are currently sales merchandisers or van sales representatives.
You will be results oriented and have the ability to manage and develop a diverse customer base. You will be highly organised with a desire to grow with the company and create lasting relationships with key customers in your area. You see yourself as a ‘hunter’ who thrives on business development.
The successful candidate must live on the territory.
