: Full Time Category Development Analyst
Location: Kings Hill, Kent, United Kingdom - just 15 minutes from the M25 and voted 9th in The Telegraph’s Britain's top 20 places to raise a family

This role is available for local candidates already authorised to work in the roles country only. Kimberly-Clark will not provide relocation for this role.

As a result of our continued growth and success, a fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a Category Development Analyst to work in our UK Head Quarters, in Kings Hill.  

You will join one of our phenomenally successful and fun Category Teams who work with the Top 4 Multiple Retailers.   This particular team focus on our Personal Care brands so you will be working with some of the best known personal care brands in the UK such as HUGGIES® PULL UPS® DEPEND® KOTEX®.

So what does a Category Development Analyst do in KC?
Well, you will be responsible for developing and executing Category initiatives in order to support the KC Category vision within those key retail partners as mentioned above.   You will need to have some experience in this area as it will be your job to engage and build relationships with the retailers and influence them effectively to implement the right initiatives for the Category to ensure that we drive profitable growth for both the retailer and Kimberly-Clark.

You will get the opportunity to work cross-functionally with sales and marketing in order to support the development of Category Strategies and influence retailers to implement recommendations tailored to their specific need.   To do this you will have the ability to develop and deliver effective external Category selling stories, tailored by customer and Category growth initiatives.

We work with our customers to develop and agree activation plans for key initiatives including merchandising and promotion recommendations and you will play a key part in that process by providing, monitoring, evaluating and communicating changes in Category, customer dynamics and competitor activities in order to recommend actions to address issues and opportunities affecting the Category and/or KC brands.

What you need to be considered for a Category Development Analyst job at KC;
* Degree-level educated or equivalent (ideally possess a sales/marketing or business focused degree)
* Prior experience of building relationships and presenting recommendations in an influential and persuasive manner
* Experience of working in a pro-active, highly collaborative environment
* Experience of working with numbers
* Experience in a category/commercial role or closely related field with multiple business exposure
* Experience working within UK FMCG market would be an advantage
