National Account Manager - Aldi
Paul Nyman Consultancy are currently recruiting a National Account Manager for an increasingly growing food manufacturer based in the North West.
Our client is a top player in their category and is looking for an exceptional National Account Manager to manage one of their Top 3 largest customers.
Operating in a £1bn+ industry with a diverse portfolio of private label, short shelf-life products, they are a business that pride themselves on an extremely close working relationship with their customers. With a customer base that spans the grocery MULTS and high-growth discounters, the business has a significant presence within the UK FMCG market.
This is not your typical, every day National Account Manager Role. You will be viewed as the lead contact on a £ multi-million Aldi account which is continuing to grow and will only become more complex.
You will be managing the entire mix of commercial, NPD & category delivery, responsible for a sizeable P&L & JBP. However, you won’t be happy with just ‘sitting’ on the account and tiding things over – you will be ambitious enough in your approach to constantly be thinking outside the box and placing focus on long-term, sustainable customer growth.
A unique role requires a unique candidate who presents the experience to hit the ground running.
You will present previous National Account Management experience within a fast-paced category such as chilled, bakery, produce. Preferably this will also encompass some private label exposure. You will have managed big-name customers within the Top 4 or discounter sector: Given the size of Aldi & the approach required, this is essential.
The role will be based at our client’s Lancashire based head office on a regular basis.
