ABOUT YOU: You are looking for a professional environment that will truly reward your efforts and offer you a challenging, varied and stimulating role. You must have considerable Business Development experience and you enjoy forging new relationships and managing 3-6 month sales cycles. You have sold software solutions and consultancy services and ideally have experience and exposure to the FMCG sector. Importantly you have passion and the ability to win people over and create new opportunities. COMPANY: Established for over 30 years, this client is a highly innovative and successful FMCG Marketing, Business Insight and Customer Development Consultancy. They are the outright market leaders with Global clients and partnerships with the world’s biggest and best FMCG manufacturers. They have developed a range of leading edge solutions, technology and software which offer a strategic advantage and enable their FMCG clients to build more effective trading relationships with key retail partners.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: As part of their strategic growth plan they are now looking to develop new relationships with leading Retailers in the UK and across Europe. There is a huge opportunity for growth as this market is currently un-tapped and their solutions, software and decision support tools add value and address these Retailer’s needs. You will work closely with a target list of customers to map out key contacts, understand their business processes and identify their needs. You will then work with internal colleagues to propose solutions and persuasively sell the commercial benefits. As a positive and confident communicator you will work hard to nurture these relationships, meet key decision makers and create valuable new business wins.
