My client is a Danish based supplier of Nursery products focussing on great design, innovation and colour to balance the rest of your décor with decorating for your children. You will be based from home helping to ensure a 100% friendly work environment for your business partners alongside fulfilling the business growth plans. Balancing modern Scandinavian design with fun and playfulness for children the business aims to create a lifestyle for families with children.


Reporting into the Commercial Director you will be a key member of the sales team to develop the UK Market. Your role will be to look after the existing independent retailers and develop the brand into a range of accounts that suit the aesthetic of the business and their values.

You will be expected to grow existing accounts to ensure all opportunities are maximised. You will also develop accounts and drive new business in areas that have not been fully utilised. You will prepare monthly forecasts and sales budgets and work autonomously, sharing best practice, current trends and ways to develop accounts and setting an example for all to follow.

You will be responsible for managing your own diary and will spend the time required to meet clients and understand their needs. This will involve travel across the UK 3 to 4 days per week meeting customers, so you will need to be highly motivated and committed to the role, especially in the first few months when meeting clients for the first time. When not visiting clients you will be home based with full autonomy.

The person:

You will be an experienced sales professional from the Nursery industry with a wide network of contacts within the UK industry and you will understand the complexities of working within each of these accounts. You will have lots of ideas how to build accounts and deliver joint business plans. You will be a strong character, with leadership skills, honesty and integrity and able to integrate into the existing international team.
