As Senior Category Manager you will report into the Head of Category, working on a newly acquired category for the business. You will be responsible for:
  • Building relationships with your customer, showing category thought leadership and helping deliver ongoing improvements to the point of purchase for both the retailer and our client
  • Working closely with the sales team to maximise the performance of the core range within your assigned customer
  • Working closely with the Grocery Category Lead and Head of Category to define, refine and execute the category strategy and growth drivers within your assigned retailer
  • Liaising with the Research and Insight team to ensure the category team are best in class in identifying and bringing market trends and developments to the market
  • Management of quarterly and monthly reports. For example, distribution trackers and customer specific scorecards
  • Delivering category insights by measuring manufacturers activities, events, audits and any other applicable measures
  • Ensuring that the sales team have continuous access to insight tools and training




To be eligible for this Senior Category Manager role you must have:
  • Strong category management skills, ideally at senior manager level
  • A proven track record of bringing category insights and trends to your previous roles and instigating appropriate action accordingly
  • Experience with data/insights programs such as Nielsen/IRI
  • Strong numeric skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills
