Business Unit Manager
Our client is a personal care manufacturer with a big international presence. Producing quality products that don't break the bank, the business has a broad appeal and that can be seen in its envious customer base, which includes many major European retailers as well as a wide range of brand owners, for whom the company offers contract manufacturing services.
We're looking for a Business Unit Manager to lead a small sales team whilst personally managing some international key accounts, specifically on the contract manufacturing side of the business. Predominantly office-based in the West Midlands, there will be an element of travel, both European, and occasionally further afield, to consider.
We're looking for an experienced commercial operator who can manage complex customer projects, working closely with technical teams to cultivate long term relationships. You will need to build an intimate knowledge of your customers, in a market that is led by innovation and re-launches. A strong FMCG background is required, but knowledge of the personal care sector and contract manufacturing would be highly desirable.
Our client is willing to consider exceptional National Account Managers who have had a taste for developing junior sales members and would now like to make the transition into a people management role - so this could be a wonderful step in propelling your career.
