National Account Executive - Grocery

Here is has an exciting opportunity for a food industry professional to join a business that is going from strength-to-strength and continues to invest heavily in brand marketing. The company continues to build on their double-digit growth and are now looking to hire talent to support the Asda account whilst having full P&L responsibility for a smaller account.
Reporting in to the ASDA NAM, you will develop and recommend a rolling annual activity plan that will enable account responsibility to deliver budgeted sales objectives and manage all aspects of sales accounts relationships with buyers, merchandisers and other key contacts within the retailer. Having P&L experience in your current or past role, you will be working with the in-store merchandising team to deliver best practice in-store sales execution, on shelf availability and promotional compliance.
The successful candidate will have the following criteria:-
- Experience of working with Grocery or Convenience accounts with some P&L responsibility
- Solid commercial acumen with strong selling and negotiation skills
- Essential that you have a passion for food and succeeding in your career
- Must be able to work in the North Yorkshire region on a daily basis
- Degree educated
Candidates are likely to have commercial experience working in a branded food organisation having some exposure to P&L accountability.
